Superlock pallet racks (76.2mm pitch) are the most popular warehouse racking system in Australia and New Zealand. It is compatible with different types & sizes of pallets with most types of handling equipment, which can satisfy most industrial steel racking systems for better storage solutions.
Superlock Pallet Racks are a robust and versatile storage solution designed for heavy-duty applications in warehouses, distribution centers, and industrial environments. These racks are known for their enhanced locking mechanisms, which provide additional security and stability for storing large volumes of palletized goods.
All our superlock products are designed and manufactured following AS4084-2012. This heavy duty racking system provides direct access to all pallets for 100% accessibility and great stock rotation. Pallets can be located, accessed, and moved individually providing rapid handling of palletized goods.
In most cases the type of hole pitch upon on your preference. The 50mm pitch(Ezlock pallet racking) and 50.8mm pitch pallet racking(Teardrop pallet racking) are available as well.
• Versatile racks & storage solutions to suit your warehouse
• Pre-galvanized and hot dip galvanized upright & Frame bracing are available
• Superlock racks can support multiple tiers of storage, allowing for the maximization of vertical space.
• Direct access to each pallet and simple stock management
• Compatible with most types of handling equipment
• Beam easily adjusts to adapt to variable height of pallet
• Shrink wrap pack for forklift unloading
• The Superlock pallet racking system requires minimal maintenance, aside from regular inspections and cleaning, making it a cost-effective long-term solution.
Superlock Pallet Racks are a strong, versatile, and safe storage solution designed for heavy-duty industrial applications. Their advanced locking mechanism and durable construction make them ideal for businesses looking to optimize storage space while ensuring safety and stability in their operations.
• Heavy Industry: Suitable for storing large, heavy items such as raw materials, machinery components, or finished goods in manufacturing environments.
• Warehouse Storage: Ideal for high-density storage in warehouses where space optimization and load capacity are critical.
• Distribution Centers: Provides efficient storage and easy access to palletized goods, streamlining the picking and shipping process.
• Cold Storage: Can be used in refrigerated environments, provided they are made with corrosion-resistant materials.
The most widely used type of pallet racking system is likely selective pallet racking, also known as wide-span or wide aisle racking. This system allows for direct and unrestricted access to all pallets, making it very flexible and suitable for a wide range of storage needs. Selective pallet racking is popular because it offers good selectivity and can accommodate a high variety of products.
Other types of pallet racking systems include:
▶ Drive-in/Drive-through Racking: This system is designed for high-density storage and is ideal for storing large quantities of a single SKU (Stock Keeping Unit). Pallets are loaded and unloaded from the same aisle in drive-through systems, while in drive-in systems, pallets are loaded from one side and removed from the other.
▶ Push-back Racking: This system uses carts or rollers to push back existing pallets when new pallets are added. It provides last-in, first-out (LIFO) inventory rotation and is useful for increasing storage density while maintaining some level of selectivity.
▶ Pallet Flow Racking: Also known as gravity flow racking, this system uses roller tracks or skate wheel conveyors to allow pallets to move from the rear of the rack to the front under the force of gravity. It supports first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory rotation and is well-suited for perishable goods and products with expiration dates.
▶ Carton Flow Racking: Similar to pallet flow but designed for cartons rather than pallets.
▶ Double Deep Racking: This system stores pallets two deep, reducing aisle space but requiring specialized handling equipment.
▶ Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS): These systems use automated cranes or shuttles to store and retrieve pallets, providing high-density storage and fast retrieval times.
However, among these, selective pallet racking remains the most common due to its versatility and straightforward operation.
